What happens in my first pottery class?

You'll learn the basics — either centering clay on the wheel or handbuilding fundamentals. Your instructor guides you step by step. No experience needed.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself and clothes you don't mind getting clay on. We provide all materials, tools, aprons, and instruction.

Will I actually make something I can keep?

Yes. In a 6-week class, most students finish 4-8 pieces that are glazed, fired, and ready to use at home.

What if I'm terrible at it?

Everyone is at first. That's the fun of it. Our small class sizes (12 max) mean your instructor is right there to help you improve.
